Phil Mickelson hizo historia el domingo, se convirtió en la persona mayor en ganar un campeonato de golf importante cuando ganó el Campeonato de la PGA 2021.
Al ganar a los 50 años, Mickelson superó el récord que anteriormente ostentaba Julius Boros, quien ganó el Campeonato de la PGA en 1968 a los 48 años.
